Our Journey

How it began?

The story of August Getaway began in Ireland. Though I was born and raised in the Philippines, I moved to Ireland for work. This new environment has allowed me to explore various places and try new activities.

My day job:

I work full-time as a radiographer at a hospital in Dublin. Despite the long hours, I always make the most of my holidays and time off.

Travel frequency:

I take advantage of every long weekend to travel, enhance my skills, or discover new experiences.

Photography equipment:

I have tiny hands, so I opted for a small mirrorless camera—a Fujifilm XT30II. I currently have three lenses. I use the Fuji 35mm F1.2 and Sigma 56 F2 for travelling, and for video recording, I use the Fuji 18-55mm F2-4.

Photo editing:

I’m using Fujifilm’s film simulation. I call this recipe “modified bright summer”.
